Best Fortnite Streamers to Watch on Twitch

by Phirex

Fortnite has become one of the top games on Twitch since its launch, even though there is still debate over whether or not it can truly be considered an esport. The battle royale style title is ideally suited to Twitch and here are some of the best streamers to watch on the platform.

Fresh

With around 2.5 million followers on Twitch, Fresh is a good place to start when talking about the best Fortnite streamers. Having logged more than 3.5 million viewer hours in the last month alone.

Fresh is undoubtedly one of the top Fortnite streamers on Twitch. Fresh – real name Harley Campbell – is a player for Luminosity Gaming Oceania having left Renegades last year, with the Australian having taken up Fortnite seriously in the very early days of the game.

The quality of Fresh’s Twitch streams was noted earlier in the year when he was given the Shorty Awards Streamer of the Year prize. Ninja is a former winner of that particular award, so it seems certain that Fresh is going to have an even bigger future in the esports community too.

ChicaLive

Most gaming streams are run by male players, but ChicaLive is bucking the trend. And with 673,000 followers on Twitch, her presence on the site is becoming increasingly popular.

Real name Maria Lopez, Chica’s streams are known in the esports community for being very laid back, making her Twitch a relaxing place a while away some time.

The Puerto Rican, who represents Team SoloMid, is also popular on a few different forms of social media including the lip-syncing app sensation TikTok.

As well as her main speciality game Fortnite, ChicaLive can often be found playing games like Crucible and Apex Legends on her profile.

Fornite is one of the most popular games on Twitch

Bugha

No list of the best Fortnite streamers to watch on Twitch would be complete without a mention of Bugha, who won the inaugural Fortnite World Cup when it was held in New York last year.

The American teenager, whose real name is Kyle Giersdorf, scooped millions of dollars in prize money as a result of his success, which turned him into one of the esports world’s top stars. Bugha’s 2.1 million followers on Twitch can testify to the quality of his streams on the site.

Unfortunately, the coronavirus crisis means that Bugha will have to wait to defend his title at the Fortnite World Cup as the upcoming event has been cancelled due to the pandemic.

Bugha’s fame hit new heights when he featured in a NFL Super Bowl advertisement earlier this year.

TimtheTatman

Joining Bugha in that NFL Super Bowl advertisement was TimtheTatman, who is another of the top Twitch Fortnite streamers, though he plays a lot of other games on the platform too.

Lately, TimtheTatman has been playing a lot of the Valorant closed beta and he came out on top against DrDisrespect in a recent Placements Challenge on the upcoming Riot Games shooter.

TimtheTatman, whose real name is Tim Betar, has almost five million followers on Twitch, where he plays games such as Call of Duty, as well as Fortnite. Betar is a very entertaining streamer to watch playing Fortnite and he often takes on Ninja on the game as well.

Fortnite’s popularity amongst a younger audience has been a big reason for its success

NickEh30

Completing our recommendations for some of the best Fortnite streamers on Twitch is NickEh30, who plays the game almost every day on the platform.

The 24-year-old, whose real name is Nicholas Amyoony, built an audience of over 4.5 million subscribers on YouTube before switching to Twitch late last year.

NickEh30 currently has 1.2 followers on Twitch but that number is rising fast due to his entertaining streams on the platform.

NickEh30 was involved in some controversy among the esports community recently when he was accused of cheating in a $500,000 charity Streamer Bowl event.
